This programme supports the deployment of automated remote-controlled elements in distribution systems and technological elements for voltage control, and selective mounting of electricity quality measurement in distribution systems, also addressing local balance by managing the power flow between consumers and the operator of the distribution network.
The aim of the Smart Grids I programme is to improve the quality, reliability, safety and sustainability of power supplies to end customers.
